Libraries Closed 12/23-24/2022

The Brooke County Public Libraries are CLOSED until we reopen after our Holiday break on January 3rd.


Due to the Governor of WV’s declaration of a State of Emergency for all WV Counties on top of declaring a state holiday for Friday 12/23/22, the board has decided that for the safety of our staff and our patrons and to align with what other public entities are following, we will be closed on 12/23/22 and 12/24/22.


We will reopen on our normally scheduled date barring any other issues 1/3/2023.

Main Closing Early @3pm

We are closing at 3pm today due to a staff shortage. Mah Jongg is still meeting and access to any late members can be made by knocking on the back door. We will be open tomorrow at normal time.
