BCPL Friends Annual Spring Event

Walt Disney will be portrayed by James Froemel of Maidsville in a West Virginia Humanities Council History Alive! program at the Brooke County Public Libraries in the River Room, on May 26, 2022 at 7pm. The Friends of the Brooke County Public Library invite all to attend their free Annual Spring Event. A brief Friends Meeting will be held followed by the program.

Though his name has become synonymous with the monumentally successful company he created, a young Walt Disney struggled to create an animation company in Chicago, Illinois and Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Los Angeles, California in 1923.
