3 Stars - A quick and easy classic read. While darker than the movie as expected, surprisingly much of the dialouge was the same, but for some insensitive remarks. Fans of the film will recognize many characters, plus a few different quirky people. Holly's wild spirit can hardly be captured on page. But it was a fun dive further into a flirty and flighty heroine's life as seen by her curious neighbor, who proves to be a flawed but likable narrator.
