If you have noticed throughout this year that delays have happened for new release books, you are not going crazy. The primary book vendor we work with, Baker & Taylor, was experiencing supply issues, which resulted in lengthy waitlists until our orders were processed, packaged, and shipped. Book vendors such as these allow libraries to preorder titles that will be released a few weeks before their release date. They would ship them to us early, and it would allow our catalog
