September 28th is National Good Neighbor Day. This national holiday was signed into law in 1978 by President Jimmy Carter. Since then, people have been celebrating this holiday in big and small ways around the country. And yet, the holiday isn’t widely known. We’re inviting you to help us change that! Stuart Dybek, an American author, said, “The public library is where place and possibility meet.” We agree. Therefore, we are inviting families to join in the celebration of National Good Neighbor Day. Come to the Main Library Location between September 23rd and the 28th, walk & read our StoryWalk (R) in our front yard, and visit our staff inside afterward to ask for a Good Neighbor Coloring Packet. Packets are while supplies last. #NationalGoodNeighborDay
