Restoring Family Links (RFL) – Red Cross Program Information

  • Feb 17
  • 1 min read

Many individuals and families who use library services may have loved ones abroad or have experienced separation due to migration, conflict, or disaster.

The RFL program helps reconnect family members who have been separated internationally due to:

• Armed conflict

• Migration

• Natural disasters

• Other humanitarian emergencies

Services are free, confidential, and available to all individuals regardless of legal status or nationality. Through tracing missing relatives, delivering family messages, and supporting reunification, the RFL program provides hope and connection to families navigating difficult circumstances.

Ways to connect:

1. Contact your local chapter office: Monet Shirley 304-543-2880

2. Call the free national helpline 844-782-9441.

3. Find them online at redcross.org/reconnectingfamilies
