You might have seen many families out and about walking yesterday between Noon - 2:30! They were Kicking-Off Summer Reading!!

61 in attendance, 33 people themselves present for handing out items.
A total of 94 had a blast yesterday!
Some of our businesses can have families come inside for a treat/prize (the 33 people noted above), but some of our businesses are super busy and still choose to have the sign on their door for families to at least walk by.
We THANK YOU for taking the time to talk with our Director and setting up your support for this year! Some of you have been supporting this for FIVE years already.
If you, as a patron, missed our kick-off, see us next year for our 2027 one! We hope that the nice weather we try to order every year graces us again.
Otherwise, we hope to see you in the library for the 2026 June and July programs. A ton of June programs are filled already. But check back in around June 25th for when the July program registration OPENS!

**Remember, you can do as many summer reading programs as your schedule allows at any library in the area! We love for you to have a library card, but that is not required for many program attendees!
