We are Pinwheeled for Child Abuse Prevention Month!

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. As a member of the Brooke County Partners in Prevention Team, we Pinwheel our locations in order to help our community stop and think about this serious issue. The blue pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention, representing a happy, healthy, and safe childhood.

As you see the Pinwheels at one of our library locations, and/or throughout the county, these Pinwheel Gardens are designed to raise awareness and remind the community that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment.
