4 Stars - A series that manages to stay fun and fresh, even with fifteen books. Courtesy to maybe of a little suspension of reality of how many injuries the human body can take, we get to just keep coming back for more of the same. But, at the same time, the scenarios book to book are quite different, and there's been quite a few reinventions since book one. We're in for more with a bit of a cliffhanger too. One of the best things about The Gray Man is while he has a high body count in every story, somehow he usually gets to keep his friends around, and it's always fun to see returning friends and enemies. We also get to travel around the world, although I maybe had my bar set a little too high on the IRA backstory and Ireland part of things. But there was a lot of other things going on, not leaving a lot of time to be disappointed and certainly not bored. The majority of the book is build up to the last third or so. And it sort of leaves you wanting more right away. It's been really interesting to see Court with more of a personal stake in things in the past few books, balancing that aspect against his missions. It makes the reader able to relate to him more, even though we're in very different worlds. While so far the series peaked for me around The Chaos Agent, and I consider it the best overall so far, this is another must-read and sure to entertain story for action thriller fans.
