4 Stars! - Arguably one of the best Rapp stories yet to date, this starts off with a bang and continues at a rather breathless pace for much of the book. My only complaint would be it may have peaked a little too soon. Guidall's narration is perfect as usual. Mitch is on defense here, and somehow it's a thrill again to see just what he's capable of, either solo or with help from his skilled buddies. This story is filled with suspense from gunfights to disturbed operators to political intrigue. It's surprising how Mills managed to work in so many human moments at times as well. Seeing Mitch and his friends trying to stay at the top of their game while unsure who to trust and with personal stakes to boot was peak thriller reading.
