3 Stars - A fun novella that can be read as a part of a series or as a standalone. Marlie and Bosco are new neighbors. And it doesn't take long for the sparks to fly and danger to come lurking. The mystery was pretty solid for a short story, even if the plot got a little wonky. Bosco's got a strange background, but watching him try to win over sweet Marlie was a blast. Pun partially intended. A quirky dog, crazy relatives, and action galore round out the whole holiday package. It's not too Christmas-y so maybe perfect winter romance fun.
