4 Stars - A very sweet tribute to Tangled, the Disney movie. True fans of the princess story will have a great time spotting all the similar plot devices and references. Ren is a quirky girl of course, and she's obviously sheltered but smart. She was like Rapunzel also though with her instantly lovable side and ethusiasm for everything. Fitz is a young man with a shadowy past trying hard to make things right. He doesn't quite know why he's so compelled to help the wacky blonde, but he does it with minimal complaints and endless patience. The plot does get a little strange and had a few head-scratching moments, but I usually realized it was a kink or two trying to keep in touch with the original story in the modern world. This might be this author pair's best work in years even though it was a lot more clean and adorable than some of their other novels. Overall, loads of fun for Tangled fans, and plenty to enjoy for casual readers and romance lovers.
